Our groundbreaking programs meet the unique needs of children, giving them a healthy start in life, opportunities to learn and protection from harm. Across the United States and around the world, our work creates lasting change for children, their families, and communities, ultimately transforming the future we all share.
This work is only possible through the continued generosity of our donors, whose valuable support is leveraged in the most cost-effective way.
It’s important to note that all our work is intertwined – helping a boy or girl go to school also protects them from dangers such as child trafficking and early marriage. Keeping children safe from disease or malnutrition means their parents are more likely to avoid costly treatments and be better able to provide for their families.
As the climate crisis affects every aspect of children’s lives, so does Redemption Light’s work.
As an organization that provides supporters with the opportunity to sponsor children, Redemption Light now provides child sponsorship services in the United States and around the world. With support from sponsors, we build local partnerships to provide tools that empower entire communities to better support the health, education, protection and growth of children.
We don’t go into a community, work on a project, and then move on. We consult with children, their families, community leaders and local councils to understand any issues or barriers and we develop plans to address them. We protect children and build trust so that our programs succeed and create real change.
